Create a Xiaohongshu cover from a product photo

Turn a clear brief and your own product image into a cover you can review, revise and save.

Prepare the product and the message

Choose a clear product photo that you have permission to use. Add the product name, verified selling points, intended reader and the message the cover should convey. Include a brand reference if the colors or layout must follow an existing style.

Separate the product image from style references. Say which image defines the product appearance and which images are only inspiration, so a visual direction does not accidentally become a product claim.

Give the first request a clear boundary

Example brief: Use this photo to prepare a Xiaohongshu cover for a ceramic travel cup. Keep its shape, color and printed details unchanged. Explore a quiet tabletop direction and a brighter everyday-use direction. Suggest a short headline for each; do not invent insulation or material claims.

Ask to review the directions before generating several finished images. State the number of images and your intended use; check the selected generation service and its price before proceeding.

Review before requesting another version

  1. Compare the product shape, color, labels and accessories against the source photo.
  2. Read every word in the cover. Confirm the headline is accurate, spelled correctly and readable at a small preview size.
  3. Check the crop, contrast and space around the product in the intended publishing preview.
  4. Name the exact version to revise and the parts to preserve: keep version A, shorten the headline, and leave the cup unchanged.

Keep the final cover ready for the note

After approval, save the chosen cover to the task workspace and confirm you can open the file. Keep the original product photo and identify the final version clearly when you continue writing the note.

Creating or saving a cover does not submit a post. Review the complete note, selected account and authorization separately before any platform action.
